Centre for Drug Evaluation, NMPA and sub-centers jointly carried out academic exchange activities on prefilled syringes
In order to support drug evaluation capacity and evaluation team-building and to jointly improve the evalution capacity of pharmaceutical package, on the afternoon of May 9, Department of Chemical Pharmacy and Pharmaceuticals of Center for Drug Evaluation of NMPA, Yangtze River Delta sub-centre and Greater Bay Area sub-centre for Drug Evaluation jointly carried out an online academic exchange activity on pre-filled syringes.
Under the topic of "Prefilled Syringe Technology and Regulations", experts with rich experience in the field of prefilled syringes were invited to give a detailed introduction to the types and applications of sterile prefilled syringe assemblies, sources and control of components, production technology and process control, quality control strategies and regulatory status at home and abroad. The reviewers of the center and the two sub-centers had in-depth exchanges and discussions with experts on key issues such as key production links, quality control and regulation of sterile pre-filled syringe assemblies, which further enhanced their evaluation capability.
